These Terms, Conditions, and Cancellation Policies (“Agreement”) govern all catering services provided by Gabby’s Potluck (“Company”). By placing an order, the client (“Client”) agrees to all terms outlined below.
1. Payment Authorization & Confirmation

1.1. All catering orders require full payment at the time of ordering.
1.2. An order is not confirmed until payment authorization is successfully approved. The Company reserves the right to cancel any order where payment authorization cannot be obtained.

2. Order Modifications
​
2.1. Clients may modify their order, including menu selections or quantities, up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event date.
2.2. Order changes requested after this window are not guaranteed and may be declined at the Company’s discretion.

3. Delivery Terms
​
3.1. Gabby’s Potluck provides delivery-only services. No on-site setup, staging, or serving staff are included unless explicitly stated in writing.
3.2. Delivery fees vary based on distance, order size, and event location.
3.3. The Client is responsible for providing a safe, accessible delivery location.
3.4. Responsibility for proper food storage, temperature control, and handling transfers to the Client immediately upon delivery.

4. Food Safety & Handling
​
4.1. All food is prepared following standard food safety practices.
4.2. After delivery, the Client assumes full responsibility for maintaining safe temperatures and conditions for food consumption.
4.3. Gabby’s Potluck is not liable for spoilage, contamination, or adverse outcomes caused by improper handling after delivery.
​
5. Allergens & Dietary Requirements
​
5.1. All items are prepared in a facility that may come into contact with common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and others.
5.2. The Company does not guarantee an allergen-free environment.
5.3. It is the Client’s responsibility to communicate allergen risks or dietary concerns to their guests.

6. Photography & Marketing Use
​
6.1. Gabby’s Potluck may photograph food items for marketing purposes, including website, social media, and promotional materials.
6.2. Clients may opt out by submitting a written request before the event date.

CANCELLATION, REFUND & RESCHEDULING POLICY
​
7. Client-Initiated Cancellations
7.1. Cancellations made before the event day may be processed without penalty. Any payment authorization will be voided.
7.2. Cancellations made 24 hours from the event date will result in a charge of fifty percent (50%) of the total order value.

8. Rescheduling
​
8.1. Orders may be rescheduled if requested at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event date, subject to availability.
8.2. Rescheduled events must be fulfilled within six (6) months.
8.3. The Company may deny rescheduling requests submitted after the 72-hour window.

9. Specialty & Non-Refundable Items
​
9.1. Certain items requiring early procurement or custom preparation may become non-refundable once purchased.
9.2. If applicable, Clients will be notified of such items during the ordering process.
9.3. Costs associated with specialty items may be deducted from any future credit.

10. Company-Initiated Cancellations
​
10.1. In the rare event that Gabby’s Potluck must cancel due to emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the Client will receive a full refund of all charges.
10.2. The Client may alternatively choose to reschedule the order at no additional cost.
